Hi,

I found an small issue :
I set up Nextstart the following way :
-> Launch with a hotkey
-> Menus stay open
-> Menu is open at the mouse position

When I open it the first time, no problem.

Then, I use an application on top of the menu and, when I hit the hotkey again, it displays the menu at the previous position, and not at the current mouse position. It would be nice if the dialog was moved to the current mouse position when using the hotkey.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks!!

Olivier

That happens because you have the menu set to always remain open. Because of this, when you press the hotkey for the second time, NextSTART detects the menu is already on screen and simply brings it to the foreground (which, in my opinion, is what it is supposed to do).

To have it working as you want, instead of 'Always Open' set the associated hotspot to 'Close Menus Automatically'. The menu will thus close once you select something from it and re-open at the new mouse position when you press the hotkey again.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.
The thing is that I like having the menus remaining open, my point was that maybe the menus already open could move to the mouse pointer when useing the hotkey.

Now, this is a very minor issue, maybe an idea for next release ?

Thanks,

Olivier
