While using WinStep Extreme, I would like to be able to left click on an icon in one of tabs on my WinStep shelf to bring up the NextSTART preferences. I can get the WinStep preferences, but not the NextStart. Is this possible?

WorkShelf and NextSTART are completely separate applications, so normally the answer would be no.

However, to prove how powerful Xtreme is, this is actually possible:

Essentially what you have to do is create a new NextSTART hotspot associated to the 'NextSTART Preferences' Internal Command. Now, in WorkShelf, you add a new item of type 'NextSTART Hotspot' to the Shelf and tell it to run that particular hotspot.

If you need a step by step description on how to do this, I'll need to know what version of Xtreme are you running.

Got it. Had not thought of using a hot spot for a tab item, works just like I want it to.
