I downloaded the latest version of Nexus and the indicators that show if an application is running, don't show up anymore, although the "show indicator" checkbox is checked under the appearance tab. Any idea what I should do?

Yes, perform a manual check for updates. The Update Manager should pick up on v10.4, which solves this issue (and adds some tremendous performance enhancements too!).

P.S. Did you turn off the Automatic Update Manager or are ignoring its prompts that a new version is available? I'm only asking this because I've seen people in Youtube videos about Nexus ignore the new version available prompt, and would like to understand better why this happens.

yesterday I tried to update it and it said something is corrupt, then I tried it again, same result, that's why I downloaded the latest version manually
now I tried to check for updates/update again and it worked fine, thanks a lot!
