Hi Michael! That would be me!

I've been replying to your messages, though. Did you check your spam folder already?

Anyway, you're still using 9.5, and the very first thing you should do is upgrade to 10.4 (no need to uninstall anything, just install the beta, which you can download from the Winstep web site, on top). Your current license key will work fine with it so no worries there either.

Once you have 10.4 installed, I can guide you on how to get NextSTART to replace the Windows taskbar again, which I think is what you want. I believe you'll love the new configuration screens vs. the old configuration screens in v9.5.

Is the new version then likely to cure all the problems of the NextStart
taskbar not appearing over the Windowblinds start menu and taskbar ..?

And will all my settings be HELD when the new version is installed ..?

Actually you could accomplish that via 9.5 as well (it should be just a question of re-enabling NextSTART task management) but it will be a lot easier to guide you using the much improved UI in 10.4. You'll love it, trust me.
