I'm running Win7 ultimate and I'm trying out Xtreme.
I installed Xtreme a few days ago to try it out.

So far I've only had two problems:

1) ALT+TAB stopped working.
I saw in the FAQ it's still available but I can't figure out how to enable it.

2) Intermittent Windows Explorer and/or NextStart crashes.
The system has also completely locked up twice.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

Kenny

Explorer crashes in Windows 7 Ultimate? I haven't seen a Explorer crash since my Windows 2000/Win 9x days.

I would say your problem has nothing to do with Xtreme. Look for a buggy shell extension you might have installed as well. Oh, and Xtreme doesn't modify the behavior of ALT-TAB *in any way*.

What version of Winstep Xtreme are you running and where did you download if from?

The latest beta.

These two only started occurring when I installed it.

Next start is interfering with the behavior in someway all I have to do is exit NextStart and my alt+tab immediately returns to normal.

Thanks,

Kenny

Open NextSTART Preferences and go to the Hotspots tab. Check each and every hotspot for a Hot Key saying anything other than 'None'.

If all are set to 'None', go to the General Preferences tab. What is your Preferences hot key set to?

Also, go to the Advanced tab in Preferences -> Misc -> Advanced and make sure middle click emulation is NOT turned on.

Also, am I right in assuming that you downloaded Winstep Xtreme from the Winstep web site?
