I tried to explain problem in antoher thread but so far no feedback yet, so another trial:

win7 64bit machine (1 laptop, 1 desktop)


Tasklist:
The normal behaviour under win7 (and also vista) is that if you go with your mouse over an application icon in the Tasklist at the bottom a preview thumbnail is poping up of ALL open windows of that program.

Under NextStart ONLY the thumbnail is poping up of the last active window and NOT from ALL windows.


In "Tasklist Advanced Settings" I found only some settings for the size of the thumbnail or some exclusion lists, but nothing about this behaviour.

Is it a bug or a feature?

Nevertheless I am missing this feature from the win7 taskbar that ALL windows of an application are poping up.

If you are talking about thumbnails for tabbed Internet browsers (like IE), then yes, at the moment the NextSTART taskbar only displays a thumbnail for the currently active 'tab' in the browser.

Otherwise, provided the grouping options are enabled, if you have several instances - NOT tabs - of the browser (or any othe program) running, then the thumbnails for each window are displayed together.

Yes this is exactly what I mean. Many thanks for the feedback, good to know that is a feature and not a "bug" (on my systems).

Is this something you want to adress in a future version?

I must confess that I like this new feature (I moved from XP to win7 and skeipped Vista) and I am missing it that´s why I have switched of Nextstart to replace the win7 taskbar.
