I'm running the NexusNoir theme on my Vista Ultimate 64 bit PC with 8 gb of RAM but the module says I have 16 gb. TH appa memory usage also doesn't match Task Manageer's assessment but it's only off by 10-15%.

From the Winstep Xtreme FAQ:

Q) Can I make the RAM Meter module display physical rather than virtual memory usage?

A) The information displayed on the RAM Meter module is defined by the author of the theme you are currently using. You wouldn't want to do this anyway: physical memory usage is absolutely meaningless, as the OS will use (or try to) 100% of the physical memory at all times not only for applications but also for various caches, etc... What really matters is virtual memory usage.

Hope that explains it. If not, there is a thread somewhere on this forum with a detailed discussion regarding reporting physical vs. virtual memory usage.

A different theme is correctly showing 8 gb of memory so you are correct, it's a function of the theme, which is why I mentioned which one I was using. I don't really need to run that module anywa, I was only curious about the discrepency. Thansk for the quick reply.
