Left click on the Shelf's left mini-tab and select 'Preferences', not 'Shelf Properties'. From the themes tab in Preferences you will be able to change the themes for both the dock and the Shelf. You can also use the Themes tab in the Shelf.

To change the wallpaper, in the Themes tab of Preferences change the combo box from 'Winstep Themes' to 'Wallpapers'.

Give the Nexus Ultimate FAQ page here a read, I'm sure it will answer a lot of your questions.

EDIT BY ADMIN: This user had the dubious honour of being the first user I ever banned from this forums for reasons other than spam.

Not only did he fail to understand that nobody was calling HIM a headless chicken (which was a joke directed at Kutagh), as he then proceeded to post a series of very nasty insults (which I deleted with a simple warning while clearly letting him know that the joke was not directed at him).

But the final nail in the coffin was him later editing/removing his messages, in an effort to make things look like they happened differently than they really did. That's what finaly got him banned.

Oh, it works with Windows 7, and yes, you can change the theme for all the docks and the Shelf, and yes, even the wallpaper. So, where is my screenshot? Still don't have anything at support@winstep.net.

Let me actually confirm that it runs with Windows 7, as I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and I got Winstep Xtreme (which contains Nexus Ultimate as one of the sub-products). It runs just fine and I got what I want.... At the moment, that is
