I just installed Nexus Ultimate courtesy of Giveaway of the Day and am still setting it up to my liking and reading the documentation.

While Wanda gives me a cookie with a click, it won't get a cookie from cookie server cookie.update.uu.se Port 8445 when sending message "1 2". When I click the test button under Online Cookie Source, I get a popup dialog box which reads:

Sorry, connection to Cookie Service failed!
Please check your settings or try again later...

I've searched for "Wanda cookie server" and similar terms in a couple of different search engines in order to try a different cookie server, but no search returns any meaningful results.

I've tried a few different combinations of checkboxes under the Internet heading under the Advanced tab in Nexus Ultimate settings, but nothing seems to work. I don't use a proxy. I connect to the internet via an ADSL modem.

Unfortunately the fortune cookie server that was hosted at an University in Upsala, Sweden, has been down for nearly a year. Until an alternative pops up to take its place, you will have to do with the local fortune cookie files. Sorry.

I really hope a replacement server will eventually take the place of the old one. Wanda is famous in the Linux world, by the way (which is where I took the idea for the Winstep Wanda, on request from a user).
