Hi,

Is it possible to set the orientation of a subdock?

Now for instance, when I have a horizontal dock on the top of my screen, a subdock rolls out vertically.
I want it to rollout horizontally, sort as a temporary extra horizontal dock below the "parent dock".

If not I think it would be a nice extra feature...

Being implemented in the next release. Problem is comming up with a nice 'unrolling' animation for it. :D

I'd suggest this: Having it like a book opening but viewing from the back (if you get what I mean). Looks nice in my mind...

Nice to see it implemented.
I think the animation doesn't realy matter in this case.

For example build the bar in the background and let it slide down like the parent dock does (when hidden and docked on the top).

Maybe this is a nice feature also:

It would be great if the "show foder as menu" could be set per folder and not globally. For some folders I like to see a menu but for others I like them to be opend in explorer.
Now we don't have a choice, it's just one or the other (ok that's a choice  ).

Left click and hold for half a second when you want to open a folder in a menu.

While holding down the icon to get a menu works, I agree with the previous entry requesting the ability to set each dock entry individually as either a menu or a folder. The majority of my dock items are in fact folders containing shortcuts to programs, and if it has to be one way or the other, I'd rather have them all open as menus unless I hold down the left mouse button for a second to open it as a folder.

And, on my computer at least, it's more like a second-and-a-half than half a second.

Answered my own issue, of course. I set the default behavior of dock items to open as menus. When I want to open one as a folder, I just right click it and explore.

It would still be nice to set the open behavior of dock items individually, but I can live with the existing method.
