this may sound stupid but how do i activate my key. i cant find it anywhere on the site

What do you mean by 'activate' your key? Full instructions for downloading and registering Nexus Ultimate are on the email that was sent to you with your Nexus Ultimate license key.

If you didn't receive that, try looking in your spam folder.
