A sexy female voice announcing the time. The ladies voice sounds a bit robotic.I know that's just eye candy (ear actually).

Do you have any female friends with a sexy voice? If so, you can build your own voice pack, with her help (and don't forget to share!). It's pretty easy.

I just asked my Thai wife to say "Hi darling it's 8 O'clock"
My wife also has lots of lady friends. I am sure I could find several voices.

OK tell me more about setting up a voice file that the clock can use. Of course I would share.
It would be quite a thrill for the girls I am sure.
Any other phrases would also be considered. Maybe we could offer a selection.
Do they have to be .wav files. Do I name each file 1sexyvoice, 2sexyvoice ect. Sorry I do not know any french girls. Will Thai voices do.
Do I put them in a special folder? What size must the files be.

Once you have the whole bunch recorded, zip them up and send them to the Winstep support address.

I just copied that lot into notepad. Then I went looking for the sound waves.
Found them. Putting them together without sounding robotic may be a bit more difficult. As you are splicing one .wav after the other. getting a smooth flowing tone may not be so easy.
I just played a heap of them and in Italian too. Could not understand a word.
The secret will be in the cutting of the .wav files. I may try and get a few people involved. How do I add them to the clock as an alternative selection?

Look for the themes folder where the other wav files are. Inside the themes folder, create a new folder named, say 'Sexy Female Voice'. Put all the wav files inside that folder. Now open notepad and paste the following into it:

[WORKSHELF]
ClockVoiceFolder=C:\Users\Public\Documents\WinStep\Themes\Sexy Female Voice\
ClockVoiceThemeName=Sexy Female Voice
ClockVoiceThemeAuthor=Your Name Here

Save the file as 'Sexy Female Voice.wsv', open WorkShelf Preferences, and you should now be able to select the new voice theme in the Sounds tab.
