But why? Drag & Drop makes it really easy to add and manipulate dock items (granted, you can do the same with menus, but those are a bit more complex beasts).

This request was as much related to the other dock bug I found - Since I couldn't actually *do* anything with the dock item (I couldn't right click, nothing) having the text interface would have been a handy tool.

Heck, for all I know (since I haven't checked) you might actually store the information in xml files that I could have looked in with notepad.

Now there's an idea - menues, docks, shelves - all the basic data (icons, commands, etc) stored in nice ascii xml files.
