hi again!

after using nextstart i was woundering how workshelf would be...
same here: very good app ;)

but there is one thing i couldn't find out yet:

is it possible to create a "sys-tray shelf"?

i did a screenshot so u can easier imagine what i mean :D

edit: here's a new question:

is it possible that each shelf has a other outlook?

e.g:

main shelf has big sybmols and only 1 row
desktop shelf has tiny symbols and 3 rows

edit2: and here's the 3. one ;) :

can there be more "shelf-bars" (dunno how 2 explane else) than 1?

like a hole bar for only the task's... not just a tap

Jorge, I don't know that it's possible, but if it is, a shelf displaying the contents of the systray would be AWESOME!

That's something I would really love to do and it has been on my to-do list for a long time (that and allowing full control of the systray in NextSTART).

However, this is technically a very difficult stunt to pull off because Microsoft does not provide any API whatsoever to deal with the systray, other than adding icons into it.

This wouldn't work, stepp. The current height 'unit' for WorkShelf is an icon row, and believe me when I say you wouldn't like it if, every time you switched shelves, WorkShelf bounced up and down. Would give you a head ache after 10 minutes. :wink:

Multi-shelves and docks are planned to be implemented before Xtreme goes final. But don't hold me to it.
