Hello Developers, and the forum!

I'm a new Winstep Extreme user (prev I have been using Stardock Objectdock).
I have a few short questions:
-is there anypossibility to use other docklets (stardock, rocketdock, etc). I think: no.
-is there anypossibility to switch off the gray winstep initialing message at boot time?
-where are stored the winstep settings? I think in registry? I want it scheduled backup with a spec. software.

Thanx

Hi Humby!

1. No, you can't user 3rd party modules/docklets.
2. Nexus Preferences -> Advanced tab -> Misc.Advanced -> Clear 'Show splash screen...'
3. Settings are stored in the Windows Registry (HKCU/Software/Winstep2000/). You can manually backup your settings in the Advanced tab of Preferences.

Thank you for fast reply, Jorge.
Sorry to hear about 3rd side docklets. Didn't you plan such possibilities?

Well, the mentioned chekbox is clear.

I mean little grey square windows with some text (Now initializin Nexus, os so) at Nexus start, and when I modify any settings.
The little windows is silmilar with the attached one, with other messages of course. I cannot capture the mentioned messages because of the short appearing.

thanx

Humby

Sorry... No, you can't turn that off. It appears when you are applying settings or something that might otherwise take some time, so you know the application is busy and not hung.
