Well I downloaded winstep yesterday and so far I have been liking what I see. I need help with the email module though. I cannot seem to get any of my email accounts to work with it. I have done some searching in the forums here and found a couple post. One being that gmail will not work. I have 3 email accounts, gmail, live mail and yahoo. I entered the incoming server settings and I think the right port number and my full email address as my name but no luck.
So what am I doing wrong and could someone give the correct settings for any of these email clients or at least provide an email clients name that will work.

It's in the FAQ: up until early 2010 the Email Checker worked perfectly well with Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts because of its built-in SSL v2 encryption support, which is required by these email providers. Unfortunately sometime around early 2010 the v2 implemention of the SSL protocol was deemed unsafe and v3 is now required, with v2 connections being refused.

Since adding SSL v3 support to Winstep applications is not a trivial matter, there is currently no estimated date for this, sorry...

OK thanks for the explanation. I will simply find an alternative until v3 is added.
