Howdy, Jorge!
Heck, I should have probably posted this privately, but what the heck. Let these kids know how old and distinguished your programming past is...

:D

I got to feeling nostalgic about my days in the skinning community, and how much fun it was working on Nextstart skins, and watching you evolve it into what's now Winstep. Ah, yes. The days when we all wondered if Microsoft could ever top Windows 98...

Now if your memory is as short as my hairline has become, I won't beat around the bush any longer.

I skinned under the names of Delevan, Elwin, and Elwin Ransom.
But I was most proud of the fact that I was the male voice of the very first version of the talking clock in Workshelf.

I'll never forget the first time I heard those words, "The Time is six oh five pee em" in my own voice, and I thought to myself, "Gosh! Will I ever get through puberty?"
Well, I'm still waiting for that to happen - but enough about me.

I just thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing, and I'm happy to see that things are well for you. It's good to know that the software is still going, considering how many of those other programs have fell by the wayside. And as long as Winstep survives, you'll always have beer money...

Anyway, I wish you the best!

Take care, and continued good fortune,

Elwin

Good Grief! Now I feel like it's old home week!
Jason - aka "Scarebear" - as I live and breathe!
Good to see you, mate!
I may just tear up and water down my beer, and that just won't do.

Cool! There's something I can tell my grandchildren about.
I should get started on a family right away so I'll have some to brag to...
