There is a Portuguese saying that goes like this: 'Hell is full of people with good intentions'. Nothing can ilustrate this better than the following thread:

http://www.winmatrix.com/forums/index.p ... topic=8258

If my AV would EVER detect some software I am trying to intall has been flagged as a virus, I would first make damn SURE it is not a false positive before warning everybody else about it. As it is, echo419 in the thread above had a knee jerk reaction. Unfortunaly (or fortunately) people are STILL responsible for their actions, and something like this could cost Winstep real money. I don't doubt Echo419 good intentions, but this is something he - and everybody else - MUST learn: free speech does not come cheap, the price is something called 'responsability'.

That is very 'jump-the-gun'. I hope you get your apology. I'd never heard of NOD Antivirus until reading that article.

Well, at least their tech support seems to work well. I posted a complaint on their web site yesterday and just got a reply - I'm impressed considering it *is* a weekend.

Anyway, I probably went a bit overboard on my reply to Echo419. I'm tired, overworked and on the edge, and need to relax a bit more. :D

Good news is that Xtreme seems to be getting really good reviews. Not only at Winmatrix as well as on FileForum/BetaNews:
