Some users found it difficult to read the default forum style for the Winstep Forums. As a result, a new, similar but higher-contrast, style has been created.

For those still not aware of the new addition, you can change to the alternate style (Winstep_Darker) in the Board Preferences section of your User Profile.

We would like your feedback on whether the new style should become the new default style or not.

If I could vote, I would have to go with Winstep_Darker.

I have to say that, on my good, colour-calibrated IPS monitor, the difference is slight between the two. However, on my laptop with its crappy TFT, the darker is a bit better. I'd like the background a little less bright, though. Well... I've already fixed that with Stylish (Firefox plug-in), but it may be better for others that can't bear bright backgrounds as well...

Problem was the color of the text on the background. In the alternate style the text is either black or dark blue, which should solve the problem.

Working fine now.

I like the new Darker style. It is MUCH easier to read now.

Ok, I'll set that style as the default for new users. Old users can simply change to it.
