hello,
i am trying to install the trial version of Xtreme 10.9 that i downloaded from your website and during installation constantly get 2 error messages regarding files Nextstart.exe and WorkShelf.exe. Both of the messages are the same and look like this:



When i click Retry i get the same message over again and if i click Ignore on both messages i am unable to start the program after the installation is complete.
Could you help me, please?

Run the setup file by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Run as Administrator'.

i tried-i get the same error messages.

However, when i attempted to run the installation in safe mode of windows i did complete it successfully. Hmmm... seems little strange, but oh well, it worked.

Then my bet lies on some anti-virus (or similar) program blocking it. Which AV-suite do you use?

i use Comodo Internet Security and i tried to make sure that it wouldn't interrupt the install by turning off all of its defenses before running the setup, but i guess it was intervening after all .

That seems to be a permissions problem writting to C:\Program Files (x86)\. My guess is that you will have this same issue with other installers.

Also, I just noticed you added a X to the installation path (i.e.; \WinstepX\ instead of \Winstep\), although that shouldn't be a problem. Any particular reason for that?

WinstepX with the "X" was to notate that it is Xtreme. So far i haven't had any problems with the installation of any other software (including regular NeXuS dock).
