HELLO GUYS I JUST DOWNLOAD WINSTEP X TOO TRY IT OUT IVE GOT WINDOWBLINDS/STARDOCK CENT. & FOUND THE LINK THERE.

BUT IVE F@CKED IT UP. OK IT SAID I HAD A 2ND SOMETHING OR OTHER RUNNING SO THAT DID NOT SOUND GOOD SO I SAID YES. BUT NOW I CAN NOT GET MY DESKTOP ICONS BACK ON HECK I GO WHERE U TURN THAT ON & OF ON THE DESKTOP AND ITS BLANK. PLZ HELP ME.....

If you see the WorkShelf in WinStep Xtreme, click on the Preferences icon. Then click the Global Preferences (icon looks like Earth) and untick 'Hide Desktop Icons on Startup'. If you click the preview button you should see if your icons return.

You can do a similar thing in NextSTART by clicking the 'Start' button, 'Settings', 'NextSTART Preferences. Then click the Global Preferences (icon looks like Earth) and untick 'Hide Desktop Icons on Startup'. If you click the preview button you should see if your icons return.

I hope one of those resolves your problem.

If you open the Desktop tab in WorkShelf, do you see your icons there?

If what Scarebear told you doesn't help, you might want to turn Active Desktop back on in the Global Preferences tab of NextSTART - this is not recommended, though, since Active Desktop is known to interfere with all Windows customization programs.

Thx guys 1st off Scarebear it was turned of there, so that did not work. winstep yes i see them there. And on your 2nd part i got them back bye turning Active Desktop back on thx. now can i turn it back off as long as i dont say yes to that ? agian? lol

And with out that bug i love the way the Aquazone theme looks & as soon as i get some $$$ ill buy this program. does any 1 no if there a windowblind to go with it ive looked but have not seen it yet?

Jason, you can also disable the Active Desktop warning so it doesn't bother you again.

I'm not aware of a WindowBlinds skin for Aquazone.
