Recently I was changing up my docks, and I have enabled something within Winstep Xtreme that causes my Chrome window to flash or blink. This only appears to affect Chrome. If I kill Winstep Xtreme the issue goes away. If I fire it up, then I have these random flashes where the border of the window highlights. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I was wondering if someone can recommend some solutions? Should I disable a setting or? I have no idea what I did. Thank you.

I have no idea either, sorry, but if it only happens with Chrome, I would risk saying the problem is with Chrome and not Winstep Xtreme.

Try to find what might be causing it, or some kind of pattern.

I'm still trying to figure this out. It seems to be occurring because of my 2nd dock bar which shows all running programs. Once that is disabled, it stops again. If I figure exactly what setting is doing this, I will post an update.

Try adding Chrome to the thumbnail exclusion list:

Preferences -> Tasks -> Advanced -> Thumbnail Exclusion List -> Add -> Select the Chrome application at the left -> Enable 'Match by application name' -> Enable 'Retrieve thumbnnail once but do not refresh it' -> Ok -> etc...

No go with that. I'm still fiddling around. If I turn off running applications and leave system tray being displayed it goes away. So obviously it's something involving the running apps. If anything works I'll post the solution. I'm just going to slowly keep messing with the settings.
