I browsed on the FAQ but couldn't find the answer:

- How can I prevent the desktop modules from minimizing when I press Windows+D?

You can't currently, sorry. However, it makes sense that you would want to do this, so I'll probably add a setting for it in a future release.

This said, there is kind of a work-around:

1. Add the 'Bring WorkShelf Forward' internal command to a dock or tab in the Shelf.

2. Right click on the icon, select 'Item Properties' and give it a hotkey (for instance, CTRL+ALT+1).

Now, if after pressing WIN+D you also press CTRL+ALT+1, the modules will come forward.

» More questions... I apologize if these have been answered before. I searched but could not find the answers.

»» Where are the current settings for Winstep stored? I can see them when I do a backup, but I don't know where it keeps them. Are they kept in the registry or is there an .ini file I haven't found yet?

»» Is there a specific area of the forum where we should submit bug reports?

»» This is a bug I've discovered with the new Nexus 11.2. It is recreatable on both the free and eXtreme versions. If I open a file menu (my dock is set to open folders as a menu by default) and I browse to a folder that has an identical filename as the folder, the file is not shown. The file attributes are normal and not marked as hidden.

- If I do not 'hide extensions' in Windows file explorer, the file shows up.

Some settings are stored in the registry indeed. Registry path looks like this:
Code:
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3845270527-2366638084-3310876421-1001\Software\WinSTEP2000
(you might have to search a bit).

No searching, the instructions were clear. I went straight there, thank-you!

Wrong key, Kutagh. Close, but no cigar.

It's HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Winstep2000

the HKEY_USERS hive is used by Windows to store different user profiles, last known good configurations, etc...
