I keep getting this message after I start my computer and one of my Hotspot menus pops up and stays on the screen until I right-click to remove it.



I uninstalled the older version and reinstalled the new one. I used the saved settings and made manual changes also so I may have screwed something up in the process.

Check all your hotspots to see if one is set to 'Activate On Startup'.

Thanks. It no longer shows the error message. While tinkering around with Hotspots which I mentioned in my other thread, I changed the settings.

FYI, per your instructions to check the settings, I decided to at first change only the setting (unchecked Perform this action when NextSTART runs) for the one Hotspot that was displayed at startup. The others weren't displaying so I didn't change them.

I restarted and the Hotspot no longer displayed but I still got the error message.

I changed all but the Desktop Modules Hotspot settings since those are displayed once Winstep starts. I restarted, but still got the error message.

I then changed the Desktop Modules settings so now none of the Hotspots are set to activate on startup of NextSTART. I restarted and as mentioned above, all is well.
