I use Rainmeter and would like to configure a skin with a button to open the NextStart menu. Is there a NextStart command line reference I could use or some other method?

You *should* be able to attach a NextSTART hotspot to the Rainmeter window.

Create a new hotspot, and, in 'How do you want to do it?', select 'Left Clicking on Hotspot'. In the last tab of the Wizard, you can then drag the magnifying glass to the RainMeter window that has the button to make it 'own' the hotspot and then select an area in it (the area would cover the Rainmeter button, in this case) which will activate the hotspot when clicked on.

The coordinates (selected area) will be relative to the 'owner' window, so, even if you move the Rainmeter window, the hotspot will still activate correctly when you click on the selected area in that window.

Unfortunately, the magnifying glass does not pick up any Rainmeter configurations. I'm not sure Rainmeter actually renders any of its skins as windows...

I could specify a specific hotspot period, but this would precluded me from using Rainmeter as the launch point.

Any other ideas?

Someone here made a really small 3rd party utility to run a NextSTART hotspot from an external application. Unfortunately that was a long time ago and I can't remember where it is.

I could do something similar, but you will have to wait until tomorrow, sorry.
