Is there a way to show the shelve icon labels just like the ones in the dock, the normal one, not the fancy one from winstep ?

Also, not talking about the labels that get inside the shelve, I am taking about the ones that just show the icon name when you hover it, just like the ones on the docks.

No, and why would you want that, since the Shelf displays the names right under the icons?

Because when I set the names to be displayed, some are long so I will need a 2 or 3 line label, and that makes the dock a lot bigger.

Does it really matter if you use more than one line of text? I mean, the Shelf is collapsed most of the time, after all...

Just saying as suggestion, , you can make it as an option, just in case someone like it or some others don't, Is just because if I add the labels below the icons i need to make the separation larger since some are long, and that cuases the dock to be larger...Just saying, you know...I will love that add on

EDIT: Also becuase some of the colors in the Shelve i have make the font in the labels kind of weird, and is hard to read them directly. Just saying for a matter of speed just hovering over the shelve icon and saying the name just as the docks...Since i hae many many shortcuts on the shleve i need to have the smalles distance between them to have as many in a single view as i can, and if i add the label, well i will end up having to pass into de 3rd or 4th page of the shelve just to get that access.

( I see there is a quick label made by you guys by it takes to appear, if it would appear right away when hovering over the icon that will be perfect, buts you know 4-5 seconds i wait on every time, it just ends up on a lot of time )

I know i am new here, i hope i am not getting anyone mad or anything, since passing from object dock to this app that really doesnt harm my computer as object had, and it has minimal performance impact, i will just love this 3-4 suggestion and this will be the perfect app for me and my friends.

EDIT 2: A lot of typo erros, sorry haven't sleep in some days, finishing some concept CG and Architect stuff for my prject. Is quite hard to write perfect but hope you guys understand.

I have bought Winstep Xtreme Basic edition today, but if by anycase there is any way to upgrade to the other Full version without buying again ?

Also, if I ever change my hardware or format, by only saving the license I can set winstep again or will I have to email you guys to sent me a new one?

We can send users their license keys again, but Winstep doesn't archive older versions of the software - it's the user's responsibility to backup a full version of the last release of the software that works with their license key.

Since most users upgrade to new versions via the built-in Update Manager, starting with v11.5 the Update Manager will save the setup program of new versions in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\WinStep\Versions\ folder. If you need to re-install, you can always backup the contents of that folder before formatting.

You're in luck, just set this up: on the upcoming v11.5, if you set the number of icon label lines in the Shelf to zero, you get a floating label on top of the Shelf, just like in the docks.

Which beta is that in? Beta 2 doesn't have that!
