I purchased the full version ($25) of nexus about a month ago and installed it. Now i am getting a warning when i startup that says i have been using it for 27 days and it will soon expire and no longer work. What gives?

You probably didn't register it properly when you got your license key (which is valid for all updates released until May 17, 2012, by the way).

Do you still have the original email with your license key that was sent to you?

If so, first open Nexus Ultimate Preferences, go to the Registrations tab, click on the Open Folder button to open the Winstep Licenses folder and delete any files you find on this folder.

Now, save the license key attached to the email that was sent to you on the 18th of May into a folder in your hard drive and *double click* it. All going well (and assuming Nexus Ultimate is running) you will get a message box thanking you for registering, and your name will show up in the scrolling text at the bottom of the About tab of Nexus Preferences.

i no longer have the email. I did find a website attached to the statement on my card i was able to go in and find what i had ordered. I was able to find this...

Regarding the license file: Email support@winstep.net with the order details and I assume Jorge will resend the license file.

For in the future: I'd strongly recommend you to keep important emails (mainly those regarding payments and registrations for paid products/services) backed up. You'll never know when you might need them again
