Hi. I am using Nexus Dock, version 11.2. When the dock is positioned at the bottom of screen, the labels, on mouseover, are positioned just above the dock. However, when the dock is positioned at the top of screen, the labels are positioned just above the bottom edge of the dock, making them more difficult to read, as they overlap the icons. Is there a setting to position the labels just below the dock on mouseover?

Thanks for all your hard work.

The upcoming v11.5 should help with this issue. :D

Well, I see no change with this version on my Vista x64 system.

However, on my XP x86 system, I normally have the dock positioned at the bottom. If I position it at the top, the labels show below the dock about the same distance as they are above the dock when it is at the bottom. Strange, but, no show-stopper. Thanks for all your hard work!

Attached is a snapshot of the dock (with label) positioned at top of screen on my Vista x64 system.

Even after disabling all mouseover effects and icon reflections, here labels were still appearing where they should.

Turns out they don't if I disable magnification *and* enable 'Do not flip background for docks at the top of the screen' in the Appearance tab.

Clearing the 'Do not flip...' setting should fix what you are seeing for now.

Ahh! Thanks for the tip. I was previously using a shelf-type dock. You are right. Unchecking "Do not flip..." works fine for this type of dock.

Thanks again!

I wish I had found out about this before the release. Sigh.

Ah, well, no application is perfect. Not like that is of any consolation, lol
