That's a 'hotspot button'.

Open NextSTART Preferences, go to the Hotspots tab, and change the activation method for Hotspot 0.

You deleted the hotspot instead of simply changing the activation method as I directed, didn't you? Even though the application warned you not to do it? :P

If so, let me know so I can give you the steps to fix it, otherwise please post a screenshot of the Hotspots tab of Nexus Preferences with hotspot 0 selected.

Ah, better, lol.

First, enable hotspot 0 again, then click the Edit button and change the activation method from 'Hotspot Button on the Desktop' to 'Hotkey Only'.

Do NOT specify a hot key (leave it set to 'None') and click Next to finish editing the hotspot.

alright! I can do that as soon as I know how to get to NextSTART settings...
I can't right click on start menu and select settings again... it's not there.

Here is a picture how it looks on right click.

lol You locked yourself out.

Actually, you can use the NextSTART system tray icon or even right click on an empty space of the taskbar. Or you can press CTRL + F12.

But you're right too, I'll add a 'Preferences' option to the Start Button right click menu in the next release.

Alright! Thx alot! CTRL + F11 got me there and the button it's now gone!
It has been bothering me for months.... but I was to lazy to ask. :)

You should definitely add NextSTART settings button in right click :) So others don't get lock-out :P

Thx again!!!
