Nexus Ultimate Upgrade - download issues

Every time I get notified that there is an upgrade available for my Nexus Ultimate, I choose 'Download Now'. The download dialog that is displayed shows the progress. It indicates that the download is going to take 500+ minutes to download a simple 8+MB. That's crazy on my hi speed internet connection.

I simply download direct from the winstep.net web page and all is good.

Is there an issue with the Winstep downloader?

Probably it doesn't identify your real network adapter and gets some wrong speed values (the remaining time is based on the network speed).

Anyway, does it really take as long as it says? For 8MB it takes less than a minute to me...

i agree with t3sty. i have two programs that will tell me x amount of hours to download an update, but when i actually download the updates through the programs it usually takes less than 5 minutes. did you try downloading the update at all through the update manager to see if it really is going to take that long?
