Hi

First and foremost I must offer my thanks to Jorge for creating such a fine suite of applications with Winstep Xtreme, and for offering 50% off the price for today. I bought it for myself and my fiancee and we're both loving it.

I've been playing around with the various programs for the last few hours now and I've discovered one thing that I'm missing, namely the full month calendar that would appear if you clicked the date on the Windows 7 taskbar/System tray. Is there something I'm missing or is that function not available on the Nexstart taskbar? If so, is there any way of adding that function to either the dock or workshelf?

Many thanks

Haych.

Hi Haych!

Instead of clicking the system tray button showing the time as you are used to, click the clock module on the dock or Shelf, or even double click the big desktop clock module/widget.

Thanks Jorge

I tried your advice and it's not quite what I was expecting, but it does work. I also figured out that I could just use the Windows 7 taskbar as and when I need it by adding the Hide/Show Taskbar internal command to the shelf.

One more question, if I may. I'm presently using the Darktech theme (which looks awesome BTW) but when I look at the screenshot it shows a matching running programs dock indicator that doesn't seem to be available. I'm pretty sure it's not the gloss circle blue indicator.

Thanks again :D

You mean the blue circles on the dock?

That is actually the 'Water' dock mouseover effect combined with the Magnify effect (right click on the Nexus dock control icon -> Dock Properties -> Effects tab).

No. Though that was a very helpful piece of info. Thanks :D

That's the one. It doesn't seem to be in the list of indicators.

Ah, no, in fact it isn't, because that screenshot is a mockup and running indicators are not part of a theme (although now that you mention it, they should be) and therefore need to be downloaded separately.

The source bitmaps for that theme do include the running indicator (which I'm attaching to this message) but, to use it, you will need to save the attached Darktech.png bitmap into the Indicators folder and then perform a couple of extra steps:

1. Open Dock Properties, go to the Appearance tab, select the Darktech running indicator.

2. Click the 'Indicator Offset' button and move it all the way to the right.

3. If your dock is at the bottom of the screen, you don't need to do anything else, otherwise you need to go to the Position tab and select 'Do not flip background for docks at the top of the screen' - if you don't do this last step and the dock is at the top of the screen, the indicator will appear above the icon instead of below it (this is by design).

Thank you so much. Glad to have invested my money into something that has a developer who cares about the product and the customers. Wish there were more like you, Jorge.
