I have been trying to use Winstep to replace the Win7 taskbar. I typically use the taskbar in a vertical orientation on the left of one of the two widescreen monitors I have on the PC. For some reason the taskbar is way too wide. It basically looks like it is wide enough to include the open systray window within it. I can't drag it any smaller either. Is there a config file for the taskbar that I can edit to make it small since I can't drag it smaller?

The NextSTART taskbar is optimized for an horizontal position, and I agree with your that it needs some work for when configured to a vertical position. You'll have to wait for the next release, however... sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just wanted to confirm I wasn't doing something wrong. With most monitors now being "widescreen" I find the vertical taskbar is a more efficient use of window space. I'll look forward to a future release that addresses the vertical taskbar a bit better.
