I'm new to this site and prog network but I like it better then WindowBlinds and I was wondering if anyone could help me a little and explain what prog I would need to start making themes... I have Photoshop and Fireworks already and I'm alright with them.

All you really need to make themes is a good image editor and the list of what images to make, which is in the help file. Also, check the update file, which lists new image names that might not be in the help file, yet. Look at the images that make up an existing theme to see exactly how things get sliced and diced.

You can also find some skinning guides at http://www.winstep.net/help.asp which will get you started on the files needed for the original NextSTART/WorkShelf. A lot of those files can be now be done as PNG, but it's a good intro into creating themes. I'd also pull apart some of the recent themes for Xtreme to see the files that were created for those themes.
