Nexus Ultimate - Software protection mechanism triggered

This evening happened for the first time the strangest thing ever with Nexus.

I was working at the PC and then my mother said dinner was ready. I left my pc turned on, and I have only turned off the monitors. When i got back I found Nexus that showed me the "Software protection mechanism triggered" message. I made a screenshoot of it before I clicked OK, here's what I've got:

I swear I didn't try to tamp/hack Nexus (or whatever the message meant).
This is the first time it happened to me, actually I've restarted Nexus and works fine.
Though, I posted to know the situations when this message is shown to the user. I've read in the message that could be a virus, but I have no viruses, I scan for twice a week usually (using Avira Antivir Premium, last updated: 21st Sept 2011, Virus def: 7.11.15.00).
What else could cause Nexus (Ultimate) to give this message?

AutoPlay Media Studio (first known as AutoPlay Menu Studio) is an IDE that uses LUA as programming language. For more info: http://www.indigorose.com/products/auto ... ia-studio/

No.. actually I wasn't... I only had the IDE opened but no application with debugger running. Or did I miss something??

Hey Jorge, I found the problem!

I never known I was infected by a rootkit! It was trying to inject itself in all the opened applications. Fortunately, some applications wouldn't work with the new injected code (like Nexus), and that's how I've found some strange errors (some programs wouldn't even open), and then the rootkit. Now I've freed my pc from any virus, and seems also like my pc is working faster

I'm trying to see the future, but so far, all I can see is a toilet seat. I guess for the time being, my powers can only reach up to a couple of hours ahead...
