I use the Windows7 AddressBar, toolbars-address, on the TaskBar. If I want to use NextSTART TaskBar instead of the Windows7 TaskBar can I do this with out losing the "AddressBar"? Inother words do you have a replacement fot the "toolbar-address"? I use it to shortcut to the registry.

Sorry, I have no idea what you mean by 'addressbar'.

Pre Vista - In the middle of the taskbar, bottom of screen, was an open box for text input. If you typed in a url it would open a browser with the url executed to the website.

WE use it to execute and thing on our computer with a 2 key input. The 2 keys are registered in the MS Registry.

Before XP Service Pack 3 actually, if you would right click on the Taskbar, one of your options would be and still is "Toolbars". One of the toolbars that used to be available was "Address." It is the same as the "Address Bar" that you see/use in Internet Explorer and functions the same way. But I found I can also set it up to use HotKeys that I specify in the Registry. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to loose this option.

I haven't used for much time the NextStart taskbar, but I can't remember of such a feature; I may have missed it.

The NextSTART taskbar only emulates the Windows taskbar, so it does not support toolbars.

You can, however, drag the toolbar to the desktop, press WIN+R to bring up the Run dialog, or associate the 'Run' internal command to a hotspot in the Quick Launch section of the NextSTART taskbar.
