Love Xtreme. Bought the network license.
I am running virtual machines on my Windows 8 Consumer Preview. I am doing this so I can experiment and also to provide additional security. With my 4 home computers and the multi-VMs I will be out of licenses. What are WINSTEP's thoughts on this?

Note to all. Physical vice virtiual licenses are an issue with nearly all SW vendor. Some of the larger vendors license by physical CPUs. What is fair to the vendors and reasonable to consumers?

my view is per psychical cpu. i have the network version of xtreme on two comps right now, but if i did put it on three others to make a total of five and then decided to use it in vm on one of those five comps i'm not going to be told i'm over my limit. it is a virtual comp not an actual comp. i look at it this way vm is for testing, not actual production use.
