Jorge,

I have found that there is an incompatiabliltity with the alpha transparency feature of WSX and CursorXP (from Stardock). When Cursor XP is running, the mouse pointer goes behind anything that has any sort of transparency. For example, with the WSX skin Aero, the mouse goes behind all the modules, WS, menus and the startbar. With the killer old-skool skin "Nextstep", everything is fine.

I am not sure how much effort you want to put into this, but I figured since cursor xp is a "skinners app", the odds of someone have both cursor xp and WSX together are pretty high.

Hmm...

It seems to be working for me now... I saw the issue twice, and now it is gone... Kinda like my car, it only works well when it is going into the shop :D

I must say it is the VERY FIRST TIME I have ever seen the mouse pointer appear behind ANYTHING in all Windows versions, hehe.

Looks more like a bug in Cursor XP.

Ack! Confirmed, just seen a message at Wincustomize about a user complaining his Cursor XP icons always go behind windows with alpha transparency (windows skinned by WB). So, it is a CursorXP bug - you'll have to contact Stardock support instead.

Well! Glad to know it is not a WSX issue! (and that I am not crazy...)
