Ok... My question is simple. How do I simply change the icon on each tile of the workshelf. There should be a textbox somewhere with the path to the image but I can't seem to find it. Primarily I want to change the "Nexus" logo to a "NeXT" logo. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance for your help!

Don't think you can change that one. Any user apps added to the bar you can change though.

You can change ANY icon - except the NeXuS logo, because it's a trademark - by dropping an ICO or PNG file into the object.

What you can do with the NeXuS control icon, though, is to change the color/style to something that suites the theme better: just right click on the NeXuS icon, select 'Appearance and Sounds' and then 'Control Icon color'.

No! Say it's not true. Why? It doesn't in any way discredit your fine work. It's just NeXT or nothing to me and this is SO close. I will end up buying whatever shell replacement/enhancement that I can make look the most NeXT-like. Actually owning a NeXT box,this is important to me. Please reconsider the ability to do this...

I'm sure you won't find any other shell/suite of applications that so closely follows the original NeXT vision as Winstep Xtreme does.

While I understand your need to have everything as NeXT like as possible, I don't think you should be influenced by the fact that you can't change the single NeXuS control icon.

While Winstep tries hard to accommodate every user's request, as long as they are reasonable, the decision NOT to let the user change the NeXuS icon was actually a conscious and well discussed one at the time.

It has to do with branding: users like to post screenshots of their desktops in various forums/web sites. The unchangeable control icon makes sure NeXuS is instantly recognizable and not confused with any of the other docks out there.
