Hello all, I've checked this product out over the last few days and decided to buy the complete product. My only problem is I've looked over the forums it appears that there doesn't seem to be any new support for the program. Which is fine at this point if the program is stable. However, it also appears that people who have purchased recently are unable to get any response from the admin. So, I'm wondering is this product dead or has the developer abandoned a product which appears to have so much potential, especially right now on the cusp of the touch screen takeover. So in short just want to know if I pay for the product after my trial period will I receive a keycode? or will my money be wasted with no hopes of ever getting a refund or the product I paid for.

Thanks

Hi.
As you said that you read other threads, you must have read my reply to another guy who asked similar questions.
Also note that I'm not an admin nor a moderator or have any ties whatsoever with the creator of this programme, Jorge.
So, even if the worst comes to the worst, you won't lose your money. It is true that, lately, Jorge has been away for rather long periods of time. The running streak is 17 days, if I'm not mistaken, which is already long. So, it may be a short while until you get your activation codes, but eventually, you will get them.
On your comments about the great opportunity of the present time, I couldn't agree more; it looks like, whatever it is that's going on with Jorge, has come at the absolutely worst possible period in years. Let's hope the great chance of the present won't go unused.
Cheers!

Thanks skagon for the kind words. I guess I will check back in another 23 days or so after my trial has expired and see if there has been any activity from the site admin. But yes appears to be a really great product at the right time.

I've been quite surprised at the lack of "support" by this developer. My ability to be sympathetic to his situation, whatever that may be that has caused him to appear to have little interest in further development or even customer support has been eclipsed by my impatience as a customer. Saying one thing and doing another is a piss poor way of doing business and I would not encourage anyone to support this type of behavior by buying these products.

I posted about a problem I was having back in June of last year. A bug was discovered related to it in Aug. and it was stated that it will be fixed in the next release. I was also told that a new beta would be released "soon" at that time and that will fix it. Well, fast forward another 6 months and I'm still dealing with the same annoying problem on a daily basis. So every time I start my computer I'm reminded of how hollow certain statements have been... :? In Jan. I was also told that a new maintenance release would be coming out last month. I still haven't seen any sign of it yet.

If I did this in my business I would have been out of business a long time ago. We all have our priorities and this product seems to be very low on the list.

Hello at the 16 day mark. Was just wondering if anyone has heard anything from the developer as of yet. Since this seems like a one man operation. Im pretty sure there is no auto server /keygenerator that would give me a key and would hate to send $40 bucks for nothing. Hopefully. Also any chance of me just redownloading again and having it work. would love to keep this program, damn shame. Hopefully the developer is ok either way.

Thanks Chuckyschild. Well it was nice while it lasted but I guess I'll just have to look for another dock program. If you could suggest any good ones would be more than grateful.

Thanks

Much appreciated

Lastly, I took a look at the registration page. So what I'm wondering is if I send money directly to bmtmicro do they process and send out the key? or does the key have to come from Jorge. If it has to come from bmt I would like to see future development but Im find with the way everything works as of now.

Thanks Again guys for your help. Day17 stil holding out some hope.

I purchased a Winstep Xtreme Subscription Renewal over 48Hrs. ago via BMT Micro. I still have not received my new license key just emails from BMT saying my order has been processed & billed. Sent email requests to both support@winstep.net & sales@winstep.net. I realize Jorge & Winstep Team are manually processing the renewal subscriptions. But what is the "turn-around-time" for loyal renewal subscribers? Not sure why Jorge does not setup an automated renewal like Stardock. I appreciate anyones help in how I acquire my paid for Registration key. Thanks.
