I know this seems a bit weird to make a new post about, but bringing back a 2-year-old post seemed like a bad idea, and I felt the new reply might be ignored.. plus my question would be off-topic for the thread anyway. Not only that, but I felt more people may want to have access to the icons shown in the image George posted in the thread.

(Here's hoping this was actually George's screenshot)

What George posted:

While I can find many hires icon packs on Deviant Art with extracted icons for Windows icons, many are missing, specifically the system tray icons. This is most likely because Windows doesn't have any hires version of some of the 16x16 system tray icons. Some examples of missing icons in higher resolution are the Sound icons or the Safely Remove Hardware icon, among others.

The original thread can be found here.

Those icons were custom made for Winstep and ship with either Nexus Utimate or Winstep Xtreme. They do NOT ship with the free version of Nexus because the free version of Nexus does not have the ability to customize tray icons.

If you are running either Nexus Ultimate or Winstep Xtreme you should be able to find them in the following folder:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\WinStep\Icons\Systray

Oh lol. I own Xtreme. Thanks. xD

Edit: Anyone able to note valid info on why Windows lacks quality icon pack creator support in comparison to Android/Linux/iOS. Seriously makes me rage that I can't find a good pack with 1000+ icons for Windows... period. There are a huge number of icon packs for Android that have 2500+ icons.
