I purchased Xtreme back a couple weeks ago, and I received my activation code, but I've searched all over the software and internet trying to figure out where to put this code to unlock it. Can someone tell me where the activation located? I checked Preferences and About, and there's no button or form fill to key this code into the software.

There should be a Registration tab (it will disappear once the software is registered).

What does it say at the bottom of the About tab, in the scrolling letters?

As it scrolls by...

Ok, if it says that then you are using the free version of Nexus.

What you need to do is download Winstep Xtreme from the Winstep web site and install that instead.
