Is there anyway to change the size of the subdock icons without changing the icons in the main dock?

I asked the same question (see my thread, no answer yet), and from what I've seen so far, no, it's not possible.

In my case, the solution, which fits my needs but maybe not yours, was to make a folder item in the main dock, and have the option to always show folders as menus checked. This way, the "subitems" are shown in a menu, with small icons. But maybe that's not what you're after ...

It's not what I've been looking for, but thanks for the tip.
