I was using the free (14.11) version without this problem. Just purchased Nexus Ultimate (14.11) and installed it over the free version as instructed. When opening Dock Properties, I cannot go from tab to tab. After many mouse clicks, the desired tab may open. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit with plenty of fast RAM on a Core 17. There was one reference I found about the DPI being the source of the problem (see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9306&hilit=dock+properties). Mine is set to 120%. The thread was about version 12 - surely this has been fixed by now and my issue is something else?

All the other dialogues seem to work as expected with good responsiveness. If this is a problem with DPI, then why is it present in this dialogue only?

Jon

EDIT: Unchecking "Use Windows XP style DPI scaling" seems to work. The Dock Properties tabs are responsive. But why is this dialogue the only one affected? By the way, this is not a good fix for me because the fonts are not displayed as well as they are with the XP box checked. It would be nice to get this fixed.

Microsoft made a mess with the DPI issue, their solution can be quite buggy which sometimes results in the problems you are seeing.

The problem with Preferences being unresponsive is because those tabs are actually bitmaps which are not being scaled up properly even though the software has been told that they are.

Does it have to be this way? I can live with it because I don't make these adjustments that often, but other adjustments work without issue. I know that Microsoft does not make this easy, but it would be nice if this could be fixed so that it functions as well as the rest of the options.

Thanks.

Jon

Unfortunately there is good reason why LOTS of applications have problems when DPI is set to anything other than 100%. Trust me, I worked on this issue a lot, but when the OS lies to the application about item sizes and then the OS itself is buggy... not much else you can do.

Vanilla apps usually work fine, of course, but Windows was never about 'vanilla' apps (if it were, you wouldn't have software such as Nexus).
