I run Winstep with windows standard menus and taskbar on Win 7 (or Classic Shell on Win 10 for transparency effects) ...

There is an small freeware utility called "Taskbar Hide" from Eusing, now v3.11.
It does the job apart from a pop-up to register which imo isn't worth the $ asked.

I use it to hide the running applications in the windows taskbar but keep the start button.

In theory it can hide all parts of the windows taskbar. I've used it successfully on Win 7 and 10 and haven't found better ... wish someone would integrate these tweaks in their software!

It has functionality to autostart via a service.

:Moderator's note - Topic originally posted in "General Discussion" but as it doesn't tie in with Winstep apps, nor the thread it was posted in, moved to "Off Topic". - nexter:

I really don't see the point of this post - it certainly bears no connection to Winstep apps so I am moving it to "Off Topic".
