Argh! I've just tried the third new battery. The first and second were piles of steaming manure (and possibly dangerous). And this one, a much more expensive one, after following the usual routine once, within a few minutes it dropped from 100% charge to 90, and seconds later a message popped up that this battery cannot be recharged! Do I really have to go and buy a Lenovo-labelled one at about £160 !?

Luckily my two batteries are not totally exhausted yet, though one is hardly usable anymore at only 22% health, and the other one is at 40% but that only lasts about a couple of hours or so. Unfortunately I'm very much battery dependent most of the time. :(

It can happen that a battery is simply an odd faulty one, but still, I'm disinclined to spend time, effort and money on sending it back for an exchange. (The last two I got refunded and told to keep/dispose of the damn things!)

What an annoyance!
