Well, I was restraining myself as best possible and did choose my words carefully so as not to address my remark directly at the poster. Anyway, I suspect this is a spammer testing the water, as it were. And everybody's got a bad day sometime.
Actually, my first instinct was to simply delete the post but then I thought just maybe I should give the smallest benefit of the doubt so moved it to 'Off Topic' instead. We shall see....
For someone who has just registered an account - and then stayed a mere 7 minutes logged in - it is at the very least a bit of a nerve to post such a question in a specialised forum, or even anywhere on a board such as this. It says to me that the poster doesn't have a clue what this board is about. I don't mind a query like this from a even remotely regular member - provided it's in 'Off Topic' - of course.
