guys, i just downloaded winstep, i had fun the minute i installed and used it because it's so cool...

...until i tried to install a theme by clicking a .xtreme file.

i attached SS of the before and after double-clicking the .xtreme file




you can see there that the wallpaper, modules and shelf are still the same, and the dock entry is misplaced (i.e. inverted). i tried several themes but still the same result.

and one more thing, the 'installed' theme is nowhere to bee seen in the themes list.

i hope you guys help me. thank you and more power!

in the Dock Properties, on the Position tab, try checking the box that says "Do not flip background for docks at the top of the screen"

What Dan said above has to do with the dock background being 'inverted'. If a theme does not provide different background bitmaps for the four different dock orientations (horizontal top, horizontal bottom, vertical left, vertical right) then the available background bitmap is automatically flipped and mirrored as required.

As for the theme you applied only changing the dock, that's because that is not a complete Winstep theme, but a Nexus (dock) theme only. As such, it will only change the docks.
