i was so happy when i found the programm "Aero Glass", that re-enables the aero blur effect in Windows 8/8.1. And i was even more happy when i found out that Winstep natively supports it, just as you would run Windows Vista.

I've purchased (donated) Aero Glass for mainly that reason.
Now you just took out that feature in the latest update. Why???
Any user that had issues just could deactivate it. But what should i do?
It looked so great with the blur effect. And i could have it, it's just locked now. You could show a warning message instead!
Or add a check if Aero Glass is installed.

This is so frustrating.

Could you please make it optional again?

The problem is that if blur is turned on on a Windows 8.x system and Aero Glass is not installed, instead of transparency you get a white opaque background.

Personally I think Microsoft really dropped the ball on this one by taking the easy road and removing core functionality from a newer Windows version.
