I am currently planning on re-installing my whole windows system to clean up some stuff. In preparation I assembled all the things I would need to correctly setup the new system.

During that process I realized that I dont have a license key or anything like that saved anywhere for Winstep. The only eMail I have saved relating to it so the order receipt from BMT Micro and an order ID. I tried finding some other information in the program menus themselves, but so far I wasnt able to find anything.

Is there a special place where this registration information is saved or what would I need so that a reinstall on a newly setup os would work ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Your license key is inside the

C:\Users\Public\Documents\WinStep\Licenses\

folder. You can also email Winstep support asking for a copy of the original email with your license key.

OMG, I could kiss y'all for keeping a copy on the disk. Accidentally deleted my email for Xtreme, and was freaking out about losing it.
