Hi,

This is such a silly question, I feel ashamed while I write it.

A time ago I downloaded and tested Nexus Dock. After seeing it was such a great app (being myself a disappointed WB and OD user), bought Xtreme.

The thing is that now when I boot I have to docks....

a) What should be the correct procedure? uninstall what? install what?
b) anyway, how can I know which one is which one?

LOL! Double the pleasure!

Do not uninstall anything. First exit the free version of Nexus, then go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep\

and simply delete the nexus.exe executable. Done.

Strangely enough, there was another location where it should be deleted:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Winstep\Backup

Well, you can delete it from there too, but there would be no harm in leaving it there... that folder holds older versions as they are updated (just in case you need to roll back after an update).

In fact, a user MUST delete from it:

When deleting the original .exe, the startmenu entry still remains.... Windows was knowledge of the existance of this second .exe, and opens it (when selecting "nexus" from start menu)

Ah, so Windows being too clever for it's own sake? Still, you must deliberately click on the Nexus shortcut in the Start Menu (might as well delete that one too).
